Is this a compliment?

My friend was trying to imitate my voice as well as our two other friend's voices recently when we were all together. She described one girl's voice as "forward, but not quite nasally" and the other's voice as "airy". My voice was described as "melodious - almost sing-songy". Is this a compliment? Part of me wonders if a "sing-songy" voice would be irritating?
