My ear feels blocked. There's no wax in it.?

For the past couple days, I've been having a cold and feeling nasally congested. My right ear feels like it's being blocked and I can barely hear anything around me. My left ear feels the same, but with less blockage. There is no wax in my ears, and I feel no pain in them. What could be the cause of this and how can I fix it?
