How can I change my voice in game on a PC through a mic?

I want to use a voice editing system that allows me to change my voice, even slightly, just so my voice sounds better on a mic. Currently, and unfortunately, it sounds nasally, which is nothing like it really sounds in reality. Anyone know of a free program that I can use where I talk and passes through the game changed?
